Dr. Louis Hamilton
Trained in Lisbon and Turin, Dr. Hamilton came to us after extensive worldwide choral directing experience.
Known for innovative programming, he displays a flamboyant style that has pleased audiences worldwide. His grasp of the many styles and periods of choral music allows audiences to experience the richness of each type of music.
Dr. Hamilton completed the Doctor of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Turin in 1992. He also holds degrees from the Lisbon Academy of Music and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
From 1992-1995, he was Music Director of the San Gabriel Chorus in Utah. From 1996 to 2001, he was the Director of the Chicago Conservatory Chorus, and later served on the faculty of Gary University, where he was Director of Choral Activities.
